Alisha Priddy

Alisha Priddy's passion for photography ignited at the tender age of 13 when she received her first camera, a Kodak 110. Little did she know that this humble beginning would lead her on a remarkable journey in the world of visual storytelling.

 

Her pivotal moment arrived in 2008 with the purchase of a Cannon 40D, her first professional camera. Then in 2017 she had the opportunity to work with Gino Kitakis, a seasoned photographer who mentored her. Alisha's first professional shoot was a heartwarming family portrait session, captured using her Canon 40D. The experience fueled her determination to pursue photography as more than just a hobby-it was her calling.

However, it was the shoot of the Upwards Basketball League in Jefferson, Ohio, sponsored by the Jefferson Church of the Nazarene, that truly propelled her business forward. The church members embraced her, nurturing her growth as a photographer. Alisha's lens captured the spirit of the league, freezing moments of determination, camaraderie, and joy. She became an integral part of the church community, continuing to photograph the team every year.

 

In 2015, Alisha established Precious Grace Photography LLC. Her commitment to excellence led her to join the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Professional Photographers of Northeast Ohio (PPNEO). These affiliations allowed her to attend workshops, seminars, and schools, honing her craft and expanding her artistic vision.

 

Kristy Steeves, a teaching professional associated with PPA, became Alisha's mentor during this time. Kristy's guidance and expertise enriched Alisha's skills, shaping her into the photographer she is today. Alisha considers herself fortunate to have had such dedicated tutors.

As a general photographer, Alisha captures a wide range of moments: from newborns' first breaths to baptism ceremonies, from cherished family portraits to scenic landscapes. She also collaborates with sports organizations and creates church directories. Special occasions hold a special place in her heart, and she approaches each assignment with grace and sensitivity.

 

Alisha firmly believes that photographs are more than mere images-they are time capsules, preserving fleeting moments for eternity. With her lens, she captures the essence of love, laughter, and connection. Through Precious Grace Photography, Alisha weaves lasting memories, one click at a time.
